Renaissance (1 ene 1300 año – 6 mayo 1527 año)

The Renaissance was a period of European “rebirth” following the Middle Ages. A cultural movement called "humanism" happened in Italy. Humanism encouraged Europeans to question the role of the Roman Catholic church. Many catholics left their church and became Protestants. In 1450, the invention of the Gutenberg printing press was monumental. Also, Renaissance artists tried to create art in a natural way. One of my favorites is Leonardo da Vinci, who drew "The Mona Lisa". The end of the Renaissance period was the result of several things including wars and economic decline.
