Anaximenes (1 ene 585 año aC – 31 dic 528 año aC)
Descripción:
Anaximenes was the first Greek philosopher to form a clear distinction between planets and stars, and to provide scientific explanations to account for natural events such as thunder, lightning, rainbows, earthquakes etc. He is also best known for his doctrine that air is the source of all things.
"Air is the nearest to an immaterial thing; for since we are generated in the flow of air, it is necessary that it should be infinite and abundant, because it is never exhausted. "
