In the 1970's advertising became more about fashion and they way women looked. There became more adverts about women in the work place however they were still portrayed as dumb and weak. This image is sexualising the female, the slogan for the company is 'just a touch sexier' implying that a woman needs to look sexy in order to be attractive. The woman in the image is a young, skinny and beautiful, the focus of the advert is her 'rear' therefore making the subject about the sexualised appearance rather than the comfort of the jeans.
