Descripción:

 Conflict between growing and competing religions, such as the Crusades.

 Within this Era, we see the Democratisation of Knowledge, where we now see the ability to mass produce religious texts which can be distributed to everyday people giving them the ability to be able to understand their own religion but also question it.

 During the Middle Ages, Muslims were in conflict with Zoroastrians during the Islamic conquest of Persia; Christians were in conflict with Muslims during the Byzantine-Arab Wars and Christians were in conflict with Muslims during the Crusades.
