Mexican American War (8 agos 1846 año – 2 feb 1848 año)

Descripción:

The U.S. attempted to make a deal with Mexico to sell California and settle the mix up with the Mexico-Texas border. The Mexican government refused and the American military moved towards the mexican territory Rio Grande. The Mexican army captured an American army patrol killing 11 leading President Polk to send his war message. The war was mostly fought in Mexico land by small American armies. The war was a military disaster but after the fall of Mexico City, the government of Mexico then agreed with the U.S. terms.
