Descripción:

After World War 2, Berlin had been divided into West Berlin under Western control and East Berlin under Soviet control. The Soviet Union started blocking all access to West Berlin. The Western countries had to deliver supplies to West Berlin through the air. The airlift lasted for almost a year until the Soviet Union stopped the blockade.
