Descripción:

This was a battle between Japan and The U.S. over the island of Iwo Jima. The U.S. fought to seize the island due to the advantage it would give them during WWII as a military outpost, but the Japanese fought back through a series of hidden tunnels throughout the island. After 36 days of fighting, American troops were able to take the island of Iwo Jima.
