German- Soviet Non-Aggression Pact (23 agos 1939 año – 23 jun 1941 año)

Descripción:

It was a nonaggression pact (promised to not involve any military action which could be used against each other) between Germany and the Soviet Union that was completed only a few days before the beginning of World War II. Hitler knew that if he invaded Poland, Britain and France from the Soviet-Union would try and stop him. So his intention was to invade Poland without being unchallenged by any other power, which is why he wanted the pact to happen. Hitler told everyone that he would stick with the pact and everyone believed him so when he betrayed it, a big disruption was created between the Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. After all of the past events had occurred, the leader of the Soviet Union, Joseph Stalin, saw what was coming which was why they started preparing for a potential WW2.
