In Nanking, the capital of the China’s eastern province a massacre occurred involving the burning of the city along with murder of war prisoners and male civilians. The women and girls of Nanking were raped, mutilated and murdered. Following their recent victory, Japan wanted to take the city and it quickly became a blood bath (for the Chinese). This even lead to the complete destruction of the city and of course the mass murders. Matsui and Tani Hisao were found guilty for making the order for this destructive act and were executed.
