November 8 to November 9 in 1923, Adolf Hitler and his followers staged the Beer Hall Putsch in Munich, which was a failed takeover of the government in Bavaria. Hitler stared addressing thousands of people in local beer halls making as the Nazi party. He was then elected as Germany's leader in July 1921. The Nazi party grew and the people of Germany lost respect for the Weimar Republic joining Hitler.
