Benito Mussolini was the fascist dictator of Italy from 1925 - 1945. Mussolini was allied with Hitler during World War ll, but was killed in 1945 shortly after the surrender of Germany. He marched into Rome with thousands of armed fascists and made a new government there. Soon after that he had suspicion of not being fascist punishable by imprisonment without trial. - (HISTORY, 2020)
