Descripción:

The stalemate was an important issue in the presidential election in 1952. Eisenhower claimed if he was elected he would end the war, once he got arrested he went to Korea. Eisenhower believed that only strong action would break the stalemate. When peace talks failed, he threatened them with nuclear weapons.
