The Romantic age, or Romanticism had its origin in Europe in the 19th century. The Romantic age differs from the Enlightenment considerably since the Enlightenment was mostly about science and logic while Romanticism emphazise human emotion. Facts was simply not enough to express the life of people in the Romantic age. The great works of the romantic era capture human emotion like no other work did before this time. Humans was in need of a new way to express themselves and wished to experience feelings in a way they never did before.
