1833 Factory act (29 agos 1833 año – 1 feb 1847 año)
Descripción:
On August 29, 1833 in Great Britain, Was the first legislation to improve the unpleasant working conditions of children in the textile factories. Children who were under 9 years old, weren't employed. Children who were between the ages of 9-13 years old could only work for 48 hours a week or a maximum of 10 hours a day. Children who were under the age of 13 years old had to receive education required by law, for 2 hours every day. A panel of paid inspectors were established to make sure that all these arrangements were succesly followed.
