Descripción:

Britain joined World War II along with France under obligation by the Anglo-Polish military alliance a day after Britain had sent Germany an ultimatum to withdraw troops from Poland. In this war, the Allies fought the Axis powers in the most widespread and deadliest conflict in human history, in which over 73 million people were killed. The war ended with the surrender of Japan. The war was very expensive and Britain was left with unpaid loans to the United States.
