The 1970s saw the creation of both Arcade cabnets, and the home Atari system, among other home consoles. Games such as Pong and The Oregon Trail came from this time. Along with this, the distribution of code to the public began, allowing people to copy down code in order to get a game on their home computer. Also, the first first-person-shooter was created.
