Descripción:

China fought Japan. It began with the Marco Polo Bridge Incident (see that event for more information) and ended with Japan's surrender to the Allies of WWII on September 2nd, 1945. It had many, many casualties - more than four million Chinese and Japanese military members and ten to twenty-five million Chinese civilians.
