England (1 ene 500 año – 1 ene 1300 año)
Descripción:
The middle, or "medieval", ages had its center in England and influenced the literature by the fact that it was ruled by the roman empire and therefore instituted latin as the written language. However, when the romans retreated, it made way for the Germanic tribes, consisting of the Angles, Saxons and Jutes who ordained their own language onto the Celtic people. This then brought on key changes to the forming of the Enligsh language. Likewise, the conquest, invasion, of the romans, led by the French man William in 1066, who won the battle of hastings, made french the language of the law and court.
