Hulegu's Rule of The Ilkhanate (1 ene 1256 año – 1 ene 1265 año)

Third son of Beki and Jochi (Chinggis's fourth son), Hulegu started and led the Golden Horde.
His older brother Qubilai led a siege on China.
Beki was a nestorian Christian who patronized churches mosques, etc. Very well liked.

Hulegu's rule of the Ilkhanate empire conquered Nizari Ismailis aka assassins. They were divided between two centers of power. Hulegu was assisted by Persian and CHinese siege experts.

He also ended the Abbasid Caliphate. In 1257 Caliph refused to submit to Hulegu and so he destroyed the city, protecting Christians, and executed Caliph honorably. Ended a line going back to Muhammad.
