Descripción:
Nabonidus and his co-regent Belshazzar rule of Babylon. During the rule of Nabonidus, who seems to be the primary of the two, he elevated the moon-god, Sin, over the Assyrian god Marduk and alienated the people of Babylon and other the local leaders. A detailed record of his reign survives in the "Annals of Nabonidus."
