Magellan and his crew were the first people to ever circumnavigate the Earth. Magellan did this out of vengeance against Portugal because of how they treated him. Magellan tried to show the world that according to the Treaty of Tordesillas and the entire world was Spain’s, but his plan only worked for a little bit it only caused the creation of a second line of demarcation.
