Descripción:

Sam Houston told James Fanin and his men to retreat from Goliad. Fanin followed his order but slowly. He traveled slowly carrying his canons. They stop to rest and wait for reinforcements. The Mexicans catch up and form a circle around the Texans. They fight all night into the morning. Mexicans reinforcements came. Fanin got hurt, and then surrenders. The Mexicans capture them and take them to jail for a week.
