An author and journalist, Louv has written nine books and is the founder of Children & Nature Network. Louv received the Audubon medal in 2008. Most widely known for his book "Last Child in the Woods: Saving our Children from Nature-Deficit Disorder."

His most recent book, "Vitamin N" offers information and activities for the entire family to get back to nature.
