History of the father of Ivo Lensik's descent into schizophrenia, as told by Ivo Lensik in his statement:

Soon after divorcing his wife, Ivo Lensik's father began to spend more time locked in his study with "his work", which turned out to be fractals (namely, his obsession with them, their mathematics, their beauty, their truth). He began to show paranoia, claiming to be followed by a man, saying "all the bones are in his hands," (This is assumed to be The Distortion). His father eventually died in a pool of his own blood, with deep gouges along his wrists and arms, walls covered in fractal drawings. His death was ruled a suicide despite the coroner being unable to identify the tool that caused his wounds, nor was able to explain "why he had such a look of fear on his face" (MAG 8). It was stated that Ivo Lensik's father died sometime in 1996, and based on estimation, it sounds as though the events of this particular part of the statement took place over many months, and is unlikely to have laster longer than a year.
