Montgomery Bus Boycott (5 dic 1955 año – 20 dic 1956 año)

Descripción:

The Montgomery Bus Boycotts were a year-long boycott of the public bus system in Montgomery, Alabama. Rosa parks was the catalyst for the movement, but all black citizens in Montgomery walked instead of taking the bus for an entire year. After Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat, all of Montgomery began to follow in her footsteps. As a result, the bus system lost a significant amount of money, and the black community gained media attention.
