More Info on Certain Beers:
Birrificio del Ducato, Ottobre Fruited Wild Ale - Busseto PR, Italy
Italy’s most awarded craft brewery brings us a wonderful marriage of “ Oud Brunello” ( an Oud Bruin made in collaboration with Oxbow) and their regional lambrusco grape.
Additional notes:
Very complex, red fruit on the nose, puckering sweet/sour blend, clean finish
Fermented naturally from wild yeasts on grape skins and open fermented
Aged for 9 months
ABV 7%
S.G. 1.016
LoverBeer, For Fan Fruited Wild Ale - Turin, Italy
Apricots from the Piedmont region of Italy give a regional touch to this fruit lambic inspired wild ale.
Additional Notes:
Deep apricot flavor blended with balanced acidity and lactic notes
Brewed only once a year
Aged for 12 months
ABV 8%
BFM, Abbayer De Saint Bon-Chien Aged Strong Ale / Biere de Garde - Saignelegier, Switzerland
Boldy meandering between port and ale, this 12 month old BFM beer gains its complexity as the sum of it’s parts; each vintage being meticulously blended from casks which once held Merlot, Grappa, or Eaux-de-vie. A statement of expertise from one of the pillars of Swiss craft beer, and one New York Times calls “one of the best beers in the world”!
Additional Notes:
Reminiscent of a fruity red wine with an assertive acidity
Bon - Chien was the name of a cat that used to hang out at the brewery. This beer is in dedication to the cat after it passed.
Aged for 12 months
ABV 11%
BFM, √225 Sour Saison - Saignelegier, Switzerland
Originally brewed for BFM’s 15th anniversary! Considered the ‘little sister’ of Abbayer De Saint Bon-Chien; a rustic saison aged in Bon-Chien barrels for 4 months.
Additional Notes:
Zesty, funky, sour, and crisp.
Meant to be a very traditional saison, and the brewers reaction to the untrue imposters of the style coming out of the U.S.
ABV 5%
