One of the earliest map drawn was on a clay tablet around 2300 B.C.
After the Amorites invaded Mesopotamia, they established their capital in the city-state Babylon around 2000 B.C.
The wheel was invented around 3500 B.C.
Sumerians invented the cuneiform writing in 3100 B.C.
2700 B.C. was the time when Gilgamesh ruled the city-state of Uruk.

Between 3000 B.C. and 2500 B.C., a lot of Sumerians city-states were in the rule of dynasties.
Sargon of Akkad conquered Sumer around 2350 B.C. and created the first empire that lasted 200 years.
Hammurabi was ruler of the Babylonian Empire from 1792 B.C. to 1570 B.C.
The Babylonians were invaded by Kassites and they ruled Babylon for 400 years.
