The organization was opened by Thomas Clarkston.They held the first anti-slavery convention in London.They developed “slave free produce” consumer action groups to promote alternative sources.The Brussels act was put into play and it allowed ships to be inspected and the arrest of anyone transporting slaves.Slavery convention that obliged all ratifying states to end slavery.They helped establish the human rights fund for native people.They organized a major campaign which resulted in freeing over 3,000 children.
