Timeline of Byzantine Empire and Islamic Civilization

The Byzantine and Islamic Civilizations have been known to contain some of the greatest empires of all time. These 2 empires have had a massive influence on the lives that we live today. Our governments, economies, and laws are just a few examples of things that have been greatly influenced by the Islamic Civilizations and Byzantine Empire. This timeline features 15 different major events that occurred during the existence of these empires. The events that occur in this timeline range from 500-1500 C.E.
