The war between the Native Americans and settlers happen, and they get forced onto reservations. Settlers then begin to move West because of Manifest Destiny.
Child labor was a big thing, and apparently they inspired the Red sox. Man also achieved flight, and things are slightly better for the Native Americans. Kinda.
The Triangle Shirtwaist fire happens, and safety codes are established as a result. The Ziegfeld Girls became popular, and Ellis Island was readily used for immigration. America joins World War I, and celebrities become a thing.
The stock market crashes, and the prohibition laws are established. Women begin to fight for their rights, and for some reason, camping becomes super popular. Babe Ruth also grew up during this time, and brought back popularity to baseball after the Black Sox scandal.
Roosevelt becomes president, and the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade was created. During this time, Shirley Temple's popularity peaks, then slowly goes down as she grows older. She then becomes an ambassador as an adult. What an absolute unit. Droughts became common, causing people to pray for rain in the midst of the Dust Bowl. The Hindenburg crashes horribly and the American Flag becomes a common symbol of patriotism.
Pearl Harbor is attacked by Japanese forces, driving America to become a fighting country in World War II. President Roosevelt dies, and television broadcasts begin. Other than that, nothing really remarkable happens.
Rock and roll is introduced, and the Korean war begins, leaving a lot of traumatized WWII veterans kind of pissed off. Disneyland opens, and Elvis becomes insanely popular. Hula hooping also becomes a common way for people to pass the time. Segregated schools start to disappear, much to the distaste of angry spoiled white kids. The government begins to start working on sending man to the moon.
