Betty is found unresponsive in the bed by Parris.
The girls are accused of witchcraft, Tituba is blamed by Abby for leading it.
Revern Hale is brought to Salem, to see if there is any sign of witchery in the town and to check on Betty.
John and Elizabeth talk about what is going on in Salem and the affairs going on with Abigail. John is told by Elizabeth to reveal that Abigail is faking it all
Revern Hale questions John. He gets asked to recite the ten commandments. He forgets Adultery.
Cheever find the poppet in the house. Many gave Elizabeth the poppet with a needle in it. Abby accusses Elizabeth for stabbing her with a needle. Elizabeth is then arrested.
John said that Mary should testify against Abigail because she is pretending.
John and Mary are now in court. Many say that she did not see spirits and the girls scream that they saw Mary's spirit.
John calls Abby a whore and the court asks John to explain, he states that he had an affair and Abby denies the affair.
Elizabeth is asked to testify to confess John's affair with Abigail. Elizabeth never lies, but she did this time.
Many people say that Proctor was with the devil. John is then arrested.
The court is corrupt. Court lets Elizabeth talk to John to try and convince John to confess.
John confesses to witchcraft and the court makes him sign confessions. He later tears the paper up.
Rebecca and John Proctor are hung.
