They took over several buildings.The British government brought in the military.Troops arrived in Dublin.
About 240 soldiers were
killed.The British troops attacked
the Irish rebels behind the 4 courts,
but they were only able to advance
140 meters. 15 troops died and 28
were injured. The soldiers killed 11 males.The troops destroyed Sackville Street.

Independence and renamed it self Ireland in 1937.
In 1949 it declared it self a republic.In 1915 three people from the military
committee came together to plan the Revolution.
