Laws put into place by Athenian statesman Solon in order to replace those implemented by Draco. These laws granted citizenship to immigrating craftsmen, cancelled debts, and reformed the standard units of weight and other measurements. Solon kept none of Draco's laws except for the sentence for homicide.
