Noble Consort Mingxian, also known as Tan Yuling, was a consort of the Xuantong Emperor (Puyi) during his time as the puppet emperor of Manchukuo. Despite being one of Puyi's favored consorts, her life was cut short under suspicious circumstances in 1942, and her death deepened Puyi's distrust of the Japanese authorities controlling his regime.
