Romania is cancelling plans to buy 12 hydrogen-powered trains worth around 360 million euros and wants instead to reinvest EU funds intended for the project in building highways. Why? ‘Because there are no hydrogen trains,’ according to Romanian Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu.
