Citizens Advice Newcastle has assisted individuals in maximising or stabilising their income by supporting successful claims for benefits such as Attendance Allowance, Disability Living Allowance, Carers Allowance, Incapacity Benefit, and Tax Credits. Citizens Advice Newcastle also helps clients with employment, debt, and benefit appeals issues, and refers them to specialised assistance when necessary, such as the Solicitors Rota, Debt Advice Unit, or Tribunal Assistance Scheme.

In addition to these services, Citizens Advice Newcastle handles inquiries related to housing, consumer, and relationship issues. Feedback from users has been very positive. The project was recognised in a survey of service users at the Outer West Customer Service Centre, where Citizens Advice Newcastle was highlighted as a valuable service provider in the "One Stop Shop." Research for the Lemington Resource Centre business plan also identified the continued need for Citizens Advice Newcastle's services at the new centre.
