The withdrawal of legal aid from uncontested divorces, along with the extension of special procedures, has left many people with the choice of either paying for a solicitor or handling the process themselves. Unsurprisingly, many of these individuals turned to Citizens Advice Newcastle in large numbers for assistance with completing the necessary forms and obtaining additional advice.
