Resolution – Participation of the Palestine Liberation Organization

The General Assembly,

Considering the question of Palestine,

Recalling resolution 3102 (XXVIII) of 12 December 1973,

Taking into account Economic and Social Council resolutions 1835 (LVI) and 1840 (LVI) of May 1974,

Noting the Palestine Liberation Organization's (PLO) invitations to various international conferences,

Invites the PLO to participate as an observer in General Assembly sessions and work;

Invites the PLO to participate as an observer in all international conferences under General Assembly auspices;

Affirms the PLO's entitlement to observer status in all international conferences under other UN organs;

Requests the Secretary-General to implement this resolution.
