Citizens Advice Newcastle is very active in promoting its work at various community events throughout the year. These include council information days, the Pride event, the Newcastle Mela, Mental Health Awareness, and International Day for Disabled People. Citizens Advice Newcastle has assembled a “pop-up” advice stall complete with leaflets, posters, banners, and other publicity materials that can be taken out to community events quickly and easily. It is known that many clients find Citizens Advice Newcastle through “word of mouth” recommendations from friends and family, so visibility at external events is extremely important.
