In January, Citizens Advice Newcastle successfully secured funding for a short-term Hong Kong (British Nationals Overseas) Welcome Project. This project was designed to advise and assist those wishing to settle in the UK. The start of the project was slow as it was necessary to build trust among those needing advice. Citizens Advice Newcastle is grateful to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities for considering the bid and awarding the funding.
