September saw the re-opening of Citizens Advice Newcastle's face-to-face drop-in service, available on week days from 10am to 12pm, in a Covid-19 safe environment. This service remained operational throughout the year. The availability of this drop-in service was a huge relief to the public, as no other service, including other local Citizens Advice offices, were providing a drop-in option. More volunteers returned at this time; however, several long-standing and experienced volunteers did not return due to Covid-19.
