The working caste of improved humans of Earth, being smarter than the Nuwali intended, and having spent decades watching and learning how to use both Nuwali and Shi'ar technology, rise up against the Nuwali to prevent any more being sent off-world. Lead by Kro, the humans seize the moon and kill all Nuwali. Kro then claims leadership over all of his brethren.
