The House of Haleth, one of the three houses of the Edain, enter Beleriand from the east following the house of Beor and accompanied by the Druedain, another race of men. They settle in southern Thargelion and live there undisturbed for nearly 20 years, when they are found. They choose to become a vassal-state to Caranthir in return for land in Thargelion, protection, and trade deals.
