1 dic 1929 año - Green Hand crackdown
Descripción:
In December, following the Green Hand's attacks of British Police patrols, British army troops were sent into Acre. The authorities were assisted by the French regime in Syria who increased their patrols on the Syria-Palestine border. During the first two months of 1930, the British succeeded in capturing sixteen of Green Hand members and breaking up the gang. During the summer of 1930, Ahmed Tafish the founder and leader of the gang was arrested in Transjordan, bringing an end to the gang's existence, and giving rise to the Black Hand.
