There also followed an exchange of opinions as to which texts should be included or omitted as Louis Charalambous and the SMB Team (NGN and Wootton) had examined the 70,000 texts mistakenly provided by Brown Rudnick and found some they wanted in evidence, including those that became known as the ‘Bettany Texts.

The legal arguments continued for a few months and were eventually resolved by a Pre Trial Ruling (Judgment) on 6 March 2020.
