Remembrance Day 2024 was the third time the national holiday was celebrated in the Empire, in memory of those who gave their lives for the nation.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, citizens of the Empire.

How far we have come. I know I and so many others here say that phrase a lot, but as we celebrate what today is all about, that being reflecting on the past and remembering those who came before, we can see just how much it means this year. Three years after our forces bravely looked death in the face and kickstarted the most important chain of events in our nation’s history, the Neobro Empire is stronger than it has ever been before. We are a force to be reckoned with, a great power that has been proven and tested time and time again. While we may not be unstoppable, we are unvanquishable. The Imperial spirit lives on.

A year ago, during the opening of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier here in Citus, our nation was dazed, confused, disassociated, and lost. We were still strong, and could see light at the end of the tunnel, but we were caught in the midst of challenging times. Today, we have become more. We have beaten the resonance shift, making new friends and staking our claim in M03-G just how we said we would. And yet, like any new endeavor, we remember the cost. We remember the people that put themselves in harm’s way to better their country and their people, a cause above oneself. It was this same valor and spirit that drove our forces forward in the opening hours of Operation Finalmente three long years ago. It really doesn’t seem like that long ago at all, and in that time, we have completely changed. But in that time, we have also lost so many brave people who believed so much in what they were fighting for.

I am proud to know now, that even after six months and three days of war in Operation Finalmente, even if we lost, everything ended up being alright. I am proud to know that we gave our first real shot our very best, even if we have learned much since then and can do much better now, of course. I am proud to know that what we did three years ago, the fateful decision to seize the future and to challenge the fabled eternal rollercoaster, all led us here to where we are today, surrounded by friends who would never let us down, and maintaining a fire within our blood that remains invincible to all who wish to challenge our love for our country. Today, we remember, more than ever, those who fell to give us these gifts, and those who had the honor of returning home as heroes to see their hard work come to fruition.

We have both been victorious and defeated countless times throughout our long history. Today we are reminded of all of them. Today, we remember all which we have done through blood sweat and tears that got us to the present moment, for if it wasn’t for any of them, we wouldn’t have the opportunity to live the life we live now.
