28 agos 1963 año - "I Have a Dream" Speech

Descripción:

Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. spoke at the March on Washington, with 250,000 people watching and participating in the march. As the face of Civil Rights to many, particularly nonviolent protest, MLK made his mark and inspired the nation's black folk to push the final steps to their rights, through hell and high water as they were at that point. This speech continues to inspire these types, for any group that happens to be squashed (at this point, none really) and looking for a morale boost. The nation remembers this moment as the beginning of the end of racial discrimination (which, in sentiment, I agree with).
