League of Nations, is an organisation for international cooperation. Established on January 10th, in 1920, at the initiative of the victorious Allied powers at the end of the First World War.
As Europe was in the middle of reconstruction, the question of Germany's entry to the League gained great importance. Germany demanded it as a symbol of its restoration to equality with the other great powers, post World War 1. And its entry would grant Germany to share the general management of international affairs, including those coming from the peace treaties.
