Due to all the major effects World War II had on economics, national pride, and financial stability, the U.S. and its allies wanted to find a way to prevent something like the Holocaust from ever happening again. The United States led the push for the UN (The United Nations). This would be an organization to try to succeed where the League of Nations had failed. In April 1945, 50 nations met to sign the script of the peace keeping group.
