10 mayo 1773 año - Tea Act
Descripción:
The Tea Act was from the British Parliament that gave the British East India the right to export tea without paying navigation taxes to the colonial merchants. The act was passed because the British East India is going to bankruptcy due to the decreasing popularity of tea in Europe. The colonists reacted to the tea act by boycotting tea becasue they believed that it is another case of taxation without representation.
